It's pretty much a miracle. I made jam this weekend, and even managed to can it myself with minimal damage. Well, minimal in my terms. A chunk out of my left index finger, a burnt right pinkie and an unfortunate incident that led to a smoldering potholder on a burner. All in all, pretty good day. Now we'll just have to see how it tastes!

Whoohoo! for jam. It looks good. I especially like the short and squatty jars! Sometimes I think the best part of canning is looking at your beautiful jewel colored jars after it's all done.
